Oil sight glass is widely used in oil & chemical engineering pipes and facilities. It offers a simple, easy method of reading the level of fluid in a container or tank. The OSG (Oil Sight Glass) is installed directly to a drain port located at the bottom of a reservoir or with an elbow for drain ports located on the side of the equipment.

Horizontal Oil Sight Glass
Horizontal oil sight glass is designed specifically for equipment that is located too close to the ground to allow installation of standard oil sight glasses. It solves the problem of limited or tight access that doesn’t provide the minimal clearance needed for typical gearboxes. The horizontal style has the same robust construction and functionality of the standard oil sight glass, just in a horizontal presentation.

Large Volume Oil Sight Glass
Large volume oil sight glass is generally vertical models of 16 oz and 32 oz, commonly used on large oil reservoirs or on the equipment that requires regular high-pressure wash downs or has high condensation problems, where water contamination cannot be avoided or minimized. It provides the extra storage necessary to hold a large amount of water until it can be drained and allows the operator to observe larger volumes of oil.
Horizontal oil sight glass is a perfect solution when access is limited.

High temperature oil sight glass is your perfect choice when the radiant heat from nearby equipment or unusually high operating temperatures exceeds the safe use of other oil sight glasses. Only available in Vertical Style, the Pyrex glass and Teflon end caps allow for operating and environmental temperatures up to 450 °F. So even under extreme temperature conditions, you will still be able to visually monitor the oil qualities and expel water contamination.
